Description
2-Methylmethcathinone (2-MMC), also known as orthomephedrone, is a recreational stimulant drug. It is a substituted derivative of cathinone, closely related to better-known drugs such as 3-methylmethcathinone and 4-methylmethcathinone (mephedrone).
4-methylmethcathinone (4-methyl MC) is a psychoactive synthetic cathinone that has been identified in bath salts and powders.1,2,3 2-methyl MC (hydrochloride) is a potential major contaminant in 4-methyl MC preparations. As an isomer of 4-methyl MC, it probably has psychoactive properties and can itself be sold as a psychoactive drug. The physiological and toxicological properties of this compound have not been determined. This product is intended for forensic and research applications. Not for human and animal consumption
